This beautiful villa is a perfect location for your holiday in Languedoc. If you want to take the family to the beach, then you are only 15 minutes from sandy beaches on the Med. If you want to explore Languedoc then the villa is the perfect base for days out without excessive driving.

For example: the medieval town of Pézenas is only 5 minutes away, the charming and historic walled town of Carcassonne is only one hour’s drive away, the Canal du Midi is close by and the nearby pretty harbour towns of Mèze and Marseillan sit on the large Bassin du Thau boasting excellent sea food restaurants.
If you are more inclined to relax in the sun, we have a private pool which is not overlooked, around which you can cook yourself a barbeque while the children splash about. All of our guests have been impressed with the villa and its location. |

| Les Trois Oliviers sits on the edge of the delightful hilltop village of Castelnau de Guers. Castelenau de Guers is a very typical Languedoc village with a history going back to medieval times. The villa is located on the southern edge of the village and sits on a small track with only 3 neighbouring houses. To the rear is an olive grove and the front of the house overlooks the picturesque Hérault valley. The view from the kitchen is superb, looking out over the valley towards Pézenas. |

The village is a short walk away (about 10 minutes). There is an excellent boulangerie (which is also a patisserie) called Staphane’s, and a small village shop which sells all essential needs, a small fruit and vegetable shop, a Tabac and a hairdressers. A poissonnier (mobile fish and seafood shop) visits the village square every Tuesday and Friday morning.
There is small bar which will provide snacks and a Pizza van visits the village every Thursday evening. There are also two vineyards which sell to the public, both of which are situated at the opposite end of the village.
The village itself is quite a small commune (about 1000 population) and has a primary school, the obligatory Marie and a fine Languedocien gothic style church dating back to the 13 th century.
